training tip #017 - in season v offseason training...
Just like the weather has different seasons, so do our sports. And, just like we'll be adding additional layers of clothes this winter to stave off the cold, we need to change our training and it's intention depending on the part of our sporting season we're in too
Unfortunately, we're discovering this isn't being done however, and that's a huge disservice to these kids. It's not giving them what they require to develop themselves in the off-season and continue to develop themselves and perform at their best when they're in-season
And in today's Training Tip, we go deep into what our intentions need to be in different phases of the sporting season, including training load, volume, intensity, and more :)
