mindset bite #022 - how to be, do & have all that you want...

There's the old adage "fake it till you make it" - and whilst there's truth to it, we've found that it only truly sets you up for embarrassment and heartache

The truth found within it is that you do get what you want in life... your actions will come from your beliefs and thoughts - so if you truly desired a different outcome, you'd change your beliefs and thoughts to in turn change your actions and your reality

There's a book called "The Master Key System" that delves deep into this habit and how you can live it for yourself...

About how you can decide what it is you want to be, then you can do those actions, and in turn, you will then have them...

As an example, let's use your sport...

In reality, you can already be the type of athlete you aspire to become - you can already make that mental shift in your head and BE that person... visualise it, believe it, do the things that that type of athlete would do, and your body and skills will begin to catch up

Now that I'm "x", what would an "x" do...
Do that... and with time, consistency and patience you'll begin to become that person

But the BE AND DO are the magic - you've got to identify what it is that you need to do, and then you need to do it - you need to take action...

BE. DO. HAVE

You are an athlete. Now, what do athlete's do? Go do that... then with the hard, consistent work and enough time, you'll have what that athlete has...

It's an incredibly simple (but not easy) system to uphold and put into place, and with time, this system can help you to be, do, and have all that you desire in life

Actionable Tips/Questions:

  • Firstly, identify what it is that you desire to be - then ask the question "Now that I'm "x", what would an "x" do?"... as an example, I will write a book in 2018 - so for me, this becomes "now that I'm an author, what would an author do?"
  • Well, an author would write daily, they'd do research, and seek to produce the most value they could to help their readers change their lives or understand a concept - so that is my aim... if I focus on that and do it to the best of my ability, then I will begin to have the authors life
